Blind dates can be intimating, but not for bookworms at Antigone Books. On Saturday, February 10, be one of the first 100 customers in store to spend $5 and get your shot at love. Go on a blind date with a book: pick out a wrapped book where you will see the genre but not the cover. The fun starts at 10 a.m.

This Valentine’s Day they are creating heart shaped pizzas for those in love (or for those in love with Pizza). These special pies are available by request only (with advance notice!) but are available for delivery. Just give Brooklyn’s a call to make arrangements. Love is in the air, and on your plate at The Coronet this Valentine’s Day. The Coronet will be offering a Special Four-Course Dinner with amuse bouche. $65 per Person with bubbly or $90 per Person with Wine Pairings and bubbly. lock your love on fourth avenue
On Saturday, February 10 we are celebrating love on the Avenue! Come “lock your love” on one of our iconic love sculptures and do some shopping on the Avenue.
Every time you purchase an item from a Participating Merchant or buy a lock from one of the nonprofit groups set up by the Lock Your Love Sculptures, you’ll receive a sticker for our Valentine card. Get three stickers and you could be on your way to win a wonderful prize!
Take the completed card to Haggerty Plaza, 316 N. 4th Ave., between 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and you’ll receive a key for a chance to open a Golden Lock. If your key opens 1 of 7 Golden Locks, you win a prize!
There will be 7 nonprofit organizations stationed along Fourth Avenue selling locks for $5.00 each to place on a sculpture and Lock Your Love on the Avenue. Homicide Survivors, Inc., Ben’s Bells, Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, Save-A-Bull Rescue, and Kick Cancer for Stephen Foundation will all be participating.
