Ghosts, Goblins and Witches, Oh My!  Join us on Sunday, October 27 from 11am-2pm for Halloween on Fourth! This is a family & pet friendly event where we welcome everyone to Trick-Or-Treat the Avenue! A costume contest will be held at Haggerty Plaza at 1pm and donated prizes will be given to each winner.  Stop by the Sunlink Spooky Train located at 4th Avenue and 8th Street if you dare!

Trick-or-Treat the Avenue: A Spooktacular Halloween Celebration on 4th Avenue
The North Fourth Avenue Merchants Association is thrilled to announce the return of Trick-or-Treat the Avenue! On Sunday, October 27, from 11 AM to 2 PM, families, friends, and even furry companions are invited to put on their spookiest costumes and join in the fun on 4th Avenue for a festive Halloween celebration. This free, family- and pet-friendly event promises a day filled with treats, excitement, and community spirit.

Beginning at 11 AM, participants can trick-or-treat along the avenue, visiting local businesses to shop and collect candy. Many of the business owners will be dressed up for the occasion, adding to the festive atmosphere and making it a memorable day for all.

A highlight of the event is the costume contest at Haggerty Plaza at 1 PM, where prizes—generously donated by local businesses—will be awarded in various categories for all ages, including the best-dressed pets! Come show off your creativity and compete for some incredible prizes.

For the brave souls seeking an extra thrill, don’t miss the Sunlink Spooky Train located at 4th Avenue and 8th Street. Climb aboard if you dare, but beware—surprises await!
