???? Duuh Duuh da da da Duuh Duuh da da da Duuh Duuh dun-dun-dun-duuuuh ????
A short time from now, on an Avenue close, not so far away….
A group of Rebel merchants got together to celebrate the Star Wars universe.
For those who are obsessed with all things Star Wars (and really, who isn’t?), May 4th is a day where fans can enjoy sales, giveaways, exclusives, and parties to honor the popular film.
According to the official Star Wars website, “While the idea of May the 4th did not start with Lucasfilm, the film company that created Star Wars has fully embraced the spirit of fandom that makes the day so special. StarWars.com, as well as the official Star Wars social media channels (hashtag #StarWarsDay), help spread the word and showcase fan activity.”
And what better place to celebrate the “Fourth” than on Fourth Avenue?
So grab your lightsabers, don your Princess Leia buns, hop in your x-wing, and head down to the Avenue for a day of exploring the galaxy.
Che’s Lounge
Your favorite Bartender is a bit like Yoda, a legendary Jedi Master who’s connection to “The Force” (the booze) is stronger than most. This year May the 4th, Che’s Lounge invites to you Trust Your Bartender, with $4 drinks. So come put your faith in the bartenders at Che’s!
D&D Pinball
The Rebel Alliance is recruiting and needs sharp shooters to help destroy the Death Star. Channel your inner Luke Skywalker and test your target skills at D&D Pinball with their all new Star Wars pinball machine. Both this new Stern machine and their original Data East machine will be playing FREE all day long on May 4th. Can YOU destroy the Death Star?

Magpies Pizza
Not Pizza the Hutt??! Ok, that’s not technically from Star Wars (Spaceballs anyone?) but it is about PIZZA!
For fans who are looking for some grub in between podraces, head to Magpies Pizza. Anyone dressed in Star Wars attire will receive 25% off of their food bill at Magpies (alcohol excluded).
Mr. Head’s Art Gallery & Bar
Hoping to run into Han Solo? Mr. Head’s is basically the Mos Eisley Cantina of Fourth Avenue. So you’ll likely spot Mr. Solo there. Or at least run into some…erm…interesting creatures.
Mr. Head’s will be serving Star Wars themed brews from Belching Beaver Brewery like, Luke I Am Your Lager and a beer called called Phantom Menace Bride.

Razorz Edge
One can never have too many Star Wars themed items in their possession. Add to your collection by stocking up at Razorz Edge. They will be doing a special 25% off all Star Wars merchandise from May 4th-6th!

Rustic Candle
Listen, after a long day of Jedi training you are going to need some R&R. Might as well stock up on some candles and bath bombs from Rustic Candle to get centered and tap into the Force. Buy any 3 candles and get the 4th candle free. Or buy any 3 soaps or bath bombs and get the 4th one free!
Sky Bar
What we wouldn’t give to have Jedi Master Yoda’s knowledge. Instead, we’ll settle for the next best thing: the Yoda Soda at Sky Bar. It may not make you as smart as Yoda, but have enough of these $4 adult beverages and you may be talking like him by the end of the night.
Train you in the ways of the drink, I will…

Surly Wench
End your day of galaxy galavanting with a bang! The Surly Wench is putting on two shows of Death Star proportions. The first is Nerdlesque on May 4th. This comic-con inspired burlesque show promises to be tons of fun and starts at 10pm.
On May 5th, prepare to cross over to the dark side with Revenge of the Fifth. This Star Wars themed industrial-goth night features DJ Noir Tech and Rev’Rend Lawless.
The Surly Wench will also be serving Star Wars themed drinks all weekend long.

Tallboys
Last but certainly not least, grab your crew and head over to Tallboys to grab a group shot in front of their newest mural. It’s safe to say the mural by artist, Jenna Tomasello needs no explanation.

We look forward to seeing wookies, storm-troppers, Jedi, and other creatures from the galaxy roaming the Avenue on 5/4. May the 4th be with you, and send us your photos!
