No one likes sitting at their computer and eating that sad PB&J, day after day. Head to Fourth Avenue for specials on your favorite eats, only available at lunchtime. We’ve rounded up five places to grab a bite on Fourth Avenue at lunch.
Athens on 4th Ave
Talk about escaping the ordinary during your lunch break. Take a trip to Athens and transport yourself to the Greek Isles in the middle of your nine-to-five. Athens on 4th Ave has an entire menu of delicious options ranging from soups and salads to your favorite Greek entrees, in lunch-sized portions. To check out their lunch menu, visit the Athens on 4th Ave website.
Brooklyn Pizza Company
Lunch for less than $5? Yes, please! Brooklyn Pizza Company has a lunch special that won’t break the bank (or spend your entire paycheck). Grab a slice and a soda from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for only $4.25.
It’s finally cooling down in Tucson and we can’t think of a better place to escape your workday than the patio at Caruso’s. They have 11 lunch menu items, available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. everyday. We love the Meatball Lunch (pictured above) but you can check out the entire lunchtime menu by visiting Caruso’s website.
The Drunken Chicken
One of our newest additions to the Avenue, The Drunken Chicken, is kicking off a new lunchtime special (and this one includes booze!). For $10, you can enjoy their fantastic fried chicken strip sandwich and grab a pint of PBR or a soda for those looking to head back to work without the buzz. The special is available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays. To keep up with The Drunken Chicken check out their facebook.com.
Grab a slice (or two) for lunch. Magpies Gourmet Pizza doesn’t typically do slices, unless it’s lunchtime! You can grab one of their specialty slices for around $4 (depending on the toppings). Check out their full menu on their website.
Bison Witches doesn’t limit the savings to only lunchtime, you can enjoy daily specials all day long. They were recently awarded “Best Place to Eat Lunch Downtown” by Tucson Weekly, and we couldn’t agree more.
